 The Argus Group offers your members quality products at discounted rates. If your members should discontinue their membership, the discount may be removed from their policy and their premiums will go back to "street" rates. We encourage the association to focus mailings and announcement pieces to non-members and members alike. This helps to get the message out to prospective members who may need a little extra encouragement to write that check for dues! In some instances, your members may already have a policy with one of our discounted carriers. In this case they will enjoy an immediate discount on their current policy upon request and proof of their membership. Also, in most situations the discount offsets the cost of membership, thereby virtually "paying their dues" as a member of the association. We stress this point continuously, as well as the loss of the discount if they do not remain a member in good standing. While it costs the association nothing to offer our programs to your members, we do ask for certain concessions in order to help us help you.
